This is how my net looks, after folding the sides of the bottom section with 'What a Joke' will be glued to part of the tabs which will be folded to hold in the DVD. Due to issues in print, it is not printed on the correct stock, however a version with a slight error has been included to show how it could look.
I have moved the warning as this was one of the main points of feedback in my crit with Amber and Fred. The joke definition, is to show how it is quite a general topic, not just a knock knock joke, and again to subtly give the audience a clue of what the product is about. I am desperate to not make a cover like a joke book, sometimes they are too obvious and flamboyant.
I think the black and white vs colour on different sides works well visually. It also symbolises some of the way the jokes are told.
Really great idea and fun way to make a DVD instead of just a book. Perhaps too much white on the packaging, what about experimenting with colour?
