More Ideas

The pattern makes the idea look less plain than some of the previous ones, but I don't think its entirely suitable.

With this one I added a moustache for a more Spanish feel, and the patterns on the top of the skull are inspired from a sombrero pattern!

Same as the previous one, but the colour scheme has been altered , I don't think the colour scheme works as well here.
This is my faovurite idea so far, I think if there was less white it would be more like a typical Day of the Dead mask, but I like the complicated patterns with the simple design - it makes it more my own. I love the colours for each of the elements they all seem to work really well.

This is more of a personalised idea to a friend who passed last year Tom, hence the T on the nose, but if you rotate it 180 degrees its also the Fender F, and the last conversation I had with him was about my Fender guitar. I have used sound holes from a guitar as the eyes, a plectrum for the nose, and keyboard keys for the mouth. Not forgetting crochets for the eye lashes.

This one looks slightly crazed. With a pattern as the main background created in pattern maker, the original pattern was actually butterflies. The colour scheme works well, I love the white, pink, purple and blue it seems to clash but in a good way! Although I think the flowers for the nostrils, look slightly lost.
