I decided to reduce the original photograph to a very simple line drawing, which I then drew up on the mac:
With a black outline, although I think the black lines are much too harsh, and if we go ahead with the black background, the outline will not be visible at all. I have also included ice on this one.
I decided to have the full ice cubes visible, although this doesn't look as effective, I could adjust the transparency of the Glayva but I am determined to keep this as minimal and simple as possible.
This looks better, hiding the rest of the ice cubes gives a clear Glayva line, and maintains the clean look.
I wondered what it would look like to fill in the glass at the bottom, to get rid of some of the white, although I am not too keen.
Here, I have added in the cranberry, but I do not like this at all, the colours do not work, but I need to use realistic colours to illustrate the ingredients.
Without the ice, but it still hasn't improved. However, Ellie will be creating backgrounds to match the mixers, so all we need is the Glayva present in the glass.
